The Portland Pilots will play the Washington State Cougars in the sixth annual Cougar Hardwood Classic on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at KeyArena in Seattle, Wash. It marks the second high-profile game in the Northwest within a week for the Pilots, who will host the University of Kentucky on Friday, Nov. 19 at the Rose Garden in Portland.

Portland Men’s Basketball to Host Kentucky at the Rose Garden
The University of Portland and University of Kentucky men’s basketball programs have signed a contract to play three games over the next three seasons beginning with a Nov. 19, 2010 contest at the Rose Garden in Portland, Pilots head coach Eric Reveno announced on Friday. The Pilots will return games to Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. each of the following two seasons.

UP Student-Athletes Take Part in NCAA Career in Sports Forum
Five University of Portland student-athletes will take part in the inaugural NCAA Career in Sports Forum on May 11-14 at the Indianapolis Marriott. Jasonn Hannibal (men’s basketball), Luke Sikma (men’s basketball), Vlastimir Davidovic (men’s soccer), Sara Jackman (women’s soccer) and Natalie Hemphill (women’s cross country) will be joined by some 400 other student-athletes and coaches at the forum.
