MORAGA,Calif. --- The Portland Pilots women’s tennis team competed at the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational last weekend at Moraga Country Club and Saint Mary’s College. A challenging field of 13 teams, including five from the West Coast Conference, competed in the tournament.
The Pilot doubles tandem of Megan Sporndli and Lacey Pflibsen advanced to the consolation finals of the Red flight to highlight the weekend. Pflibsen and Stefanie Doolittle also went 2-2 in singles play at the tournament.
The Pilots are scheduled to conclude the fall campaign at the ITA Regional Championships at Palo Alto, Calif. on Oct. 23-26.
