The Portland Pilots lost their third straight road game at Cal Poly losing 71-74. The Pilots fall to 6-3, while the Mustangs improve to 3-5 on the season.
The Pilots were lead by junior guard Ashlee Giles who scored a game high 21 points. Senior center Alison Asher dominiated the paint and had a career high seven blocked shots, nine rebounds and eight points.
The Mustangs had a two point lead at the half, but the Pilots ran off six straight points to take a four-point lead.
Odessa Jenkins had 18 points to lead Cal Poly along with seven assists. Michelle Henke made a 3-pointer with 2:58 remaining to put the Mustangs up for good at 68-65.
The Pilots will be off for the holidays and will return to the road on Friday December 28 when they take on the Weber State Wildcats.
