SPOKANE, Washington (Ticker) -- Gonzaga earned another rout, but this one may have come at a bit of a price.
Dan Dickau and Anthony Reason each scored 14 points as the 14th-ranked Bulldogs posted a 102-67 West Coast Conference rout of overmatched Portland but may have lost a pair of key players.
Gonzaga (19-3, 6-1 WCC) used a 17-1 run to close the first half for a 50-23 cushion. It held Portland was held without a basket for more than seven minutes.
But starting center Cory Violette went down with a right ankle sprain just 1:34 into the second half. High-flying French freshmen Ronny Turiaf suffered a left ankle sprain shortly thereafter.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs continued to pour it on as they placed six players in double figures. Blake Stepp nailed back-to-back 3-pointers for a 68-31 advantage with 15:44 left.
Casey Frandsen scored 15 points for Portland (5-16, 1-6), which has lost 12 of 13.
