The Pilots concluded the regular season with a 14-4-2 overall record, 4-2-1 in WCC games. San Diego finished 11-6-3, 3-3-1 in WCC games.

Lauren Arase earned the shutout without making a save, while the Pilot offense - missing all-America striker Christine Sinclair (Canadian national team duty) - overwhelmed the Toreros with offensive possession.

Lindsey Huie led Portland with six shots, but San Diego keeper Natalie Bobbit had four saves for the Torero shutout.
