The Portland Pilots lost in the opening round of the UC Irvine Invitational to Cal Poly 6-1. Courtney Perkins earned the lone point for the Pilots with her singles victory over Danielle Hustedt. The Pilots will take on Point Loma in the consolation bracket of the tournament.
