University of Portland outfielder Trevor Hahn (Vancouver, WA/Columbia River HS) was named Tuesday to Collegiate Baseball newspaper's freshman all-America team. Hahn, an honorable mention pick, follows Kory Casto (2001) as Portland's only freshmen all-Americans.

Hahn set a Portland school record with a 27-game hitting streak, hit. 317 with 10 doubles, two triples and one home run. Hahn also led Portland with six steals. The freshman also hit .349 in West Coast Conference games.
