University of Portland assistant coach Rich Wold has been elevated to the recruiting coordinator position, and Keith Brown has joined the staff, head coach Michael Holton announced. The staff changes come after Eddie Hill resigned his position with the men’s basketball program.

“Eddie has resigned to pursue other professional options,” said Holton. “Our program wishes him well in his future endeavors.”

“Keith Brown has worked hard in preparation for this opportunity , and we’re pleased to have him join our staff.”

Brown, a 1993 graduate of Hampton University, has most recently been an assistant coach at El Camino College in Torrance, Calif., where he helped lead El Camino to a 20-12 record in the 2001-02 season.
