University of Portland sophomore Lindsey Huie was selected to the inaugural CSTV Women’s Soccer All-America team. 2003 national champion North Carolina placed three players – Lindsay Tarpley, Lori Chalupny and Catherine Reddick selected, while semifinalist UCLA had Iris Mora and Nandi Pryce on the squad, which was announced last night within the CSTV Primetime live studio show originating from the CSTV Fieldhouse in New York. The CSTV All-America team was selected by the CSTV and CSTV.com editorial staff.
Huie led the WCC in nearly every offensive statistical category on her way to first team all-conference recognition. The Mission Viejo, Calif. native scored 12 goals and added 13 assists, while notching five game-winning goals.

CSTV Soccer Night, the first national regular season soccer television offering, presented men’s and women’s soccer games this fall featuring 18 teams that competed in this fall’s NCAA Men’s and Women’s Division I Championships. Among the women’s teams featured on CSTV’s telecasts were eventual national champion North Carolina, Texas, Stanford, Santa Clara and Notre Dame. College Sports Television also televised the Big East Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships semifinals and the Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships finals. In addition, CSTV profiled North Carolina women’s soccer coach Anson Dorrance within the premiere episode of its Nike Training Camp original series.
