EUGENE, Ore--- The University of Oregon plays host this week to the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. They will be held June 5-8 at Historic Hayward Field. The four days of competition consist of only semifinals and finals as the best 24 student-athletes in each event make their way to Eugene.
PILOT AT NATIONALS
Jared Bassett will be competing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. His semi-final race is tomorrow night at 6:45 p.m. PST. The top-5 finishers in each steeplechase semi-final will advance to Friday's championship race.
TICKETS
Tickets for all four days of the championships are currently on sale. Tickets may be purchased on line at goducks.com/tracktickets, by calling 1-800-WEBFOOT, in person at the Athletic Ticket Office located in the Moshofsky Center or at the Hayward Field ticket windows on the days of the meet.
TELEVISION/WEB CAST
ESPN3/ESPNU will broadcast the majority of the meet, with supplementary webcasting on Pac-12 Live Stream (http://pac-12.com/live/goducks.aspx?DB_OEM_ID=500). The broadcast schedule (all times Pacific):
