PORTLAND, Ore--- "Dome, Sweet Dome" rang true once again as the Chiles Center played host to the 2014 Pilot Indoor meet last Sunday. Athletes from Pacific University, Warner Pacific University, Northwest University, and Willamette University all competed alongside the Pilots.

Earlier this indoor season, Madison Leek set the school's record in the 400-meter dash. She carried her impressive form into Sunday's race and, in her first attempt ever at the distance, set the school's indoor record in the 600-meter. She won the race with her record-setting time of 1:35.98. Senior Sarah Ramirez was fourth in the 600-meter in her final race in the Dome.

In the high jump, Katie Lord placed second with her jump of 5'3 ¼.

With a heave of 60' 2.5", Darien Moore of Concordia tossed the NAIA National Leading mark in the shot at the meet.

The Pilots now move to the outdoor track and field season. This weekend, the team heads down to Salem for the Willamette Opener.
