 Women's Schedule/ResultsPacific Northwest --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Washington Invitational on Friday afternoon and the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational on Saturday morning. On Friday, the men's team took seventh in the competitive field while the women's team placed 
eight and the women's team finished second on Saturday.
In Seattle, Wash. on Friday, the men's side faced some of the top teams in the West in Oregon, Stanford, BYU, UCLA, Air Force, and Washington. Jeff Thies crossed the line after the 8k race in 27th with a time of 23:50.9, and Alex Dillard was two spots behind in 28th with a time of 23:51.1. The women's field was equally as competitive as the men's. Lauren LaRocco was the top finisher for the Pilots with a time of 20:23.1 on the 6k course.
On Saturday in Salem, Ore., three male harriers ran the 8k race with the top finisher being Will Baker-Robinson who crossed the line in 12th with a time of 25:32.7. For the women, Tori Zellerhoff finished the 5k race in 18:04.3 for a Pilot best finish of 10th. 
Up next, the men's team will be in Wisconsin on Oct. 16th and the women will head south on Oct. 23 for the Beaver Classic.Â
