STOCKTON, Calif. --- The Portland Pilots brought the potential game-tying run to the plate with no outs in the top of the ninth inning, but the host Pacific Tigers held on for a 2-0 win to open a three-game West Coast Conference series on a windy Friday night at Klein Family Field.
