PORTLAND, Ore. ---  Members of the Portland Pilots men's and women's track teams competed at the Portland Track Festival held at Lewis & Clark College on Saturday and Sunday. This is a yearly meet where middle school, high school, college, and professional runners compete side-by-side while looking to qualify for other meets.

After competing at the NCAA National Championship on Wednesday, Korey Thieleke was back on the track in the 400 meter dash with a time of 47.11. Gavin Flynn crossed the line in the men's 800 meter high performance race in 1:53.92. On the women's side, freshman Taryn Rawlings placed 24^th in the 800 meter high performance race with a time of 2:10.83. In the longer distances, Marci Witczak finished in 10^th in the 10,000 meter with a time of 35:37.73 and Melissa Hastings took 3^rd in the 1,500 meter with a time of 4:37.86.

This was the second to last meet of the 2015 track and field season. Portland will cap off the record breaking year at the USATF Junior/Senior Championships on June 26-28 in Track Town, USA.
