SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots track & field teams were at the University of Washington Invitational on Saturday. Madison Leek broke her own school record in the 400m and took 9^th overall with her time of 57.62.

In other women's action, Courtney Vacek leaped 38-01.25 feet in the triple jump landing in 10^th place. Anne Luijten finished 6^th in the 3,000m with a time of 9:24.32 and Taryn Rawlings completed the mile in 5:10.00.

On the men's side, Jack Welch continued to improve setting another PR in the 400m with a time of 49.55, which was the 8^th fastest time at the meet. In the 800m, Trent Mazelli used a PR to place 6^th and Malcolm Roux took 11^th with times of 1:54.39 and 1:55.41, respectively. Cobie Chavez-Killinger ran the mile in 4:17.97 and placed 26^th.

Friday night at the House of Track, Nathan DeVaughn had his best indoor performance in the long jump, leaping a distance of 22-9.00 feet.
