SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots women's cross country team raced at the NCAA West Regional this morning in Seattle, Wash. The Pilots placed 10
th overall among a competitive field with junior Taryn Rawlings earning All-Region honors for her 14
th place finish.
Freshman Jasmijn Lau (20:16.8) just missed All-Region honors as the second Pilot in 26
th and Aoibhe Richardson (20:53.5) just missed a top-50 finish with a 55
th place finish and the third Pilot to cross the finish line.
Depending on the outcomes of other Regional races across the country this weekend, Rawlings' 6k time of 19:53.7 potentially qualifies her for an individual bid to the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
