• Against the Bears, the Pilots jumped ahead 2-0 with goals from Jacobo Reyes and Greg Tracey before the Bears pulled one back in the second half.

• Against the Broncos, freshmen Delentz Pierre and Josh Ogudugu both found the back of the net, and keeper Nico Campuzano registered his third clean sheet of the year.
Â
ABOUT THE PILOTS...
• The Pilots are the top defensive team in the WCC, allowing a conference-low 0.746 goals per game, which ranks 15th nationally.
• Portland is also tops in the league and No. 14 in the country with a .811 save percentage.

• Junior Luke Hendel was named the WCC Player of the Week on Oct. 6 after registering the game-winner during a 2-1 victory over UC Riverside (Oct. 4) at Merlo Field; Hendel also earned Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week Honorable Mention recognition.
• Earlier this season Hendel landed on the TDS Team of the Week after scoring both of Portland's game-winners against George Washington (Sept. 6) and Davidson (Sept. 8).
• Freshman Delentz Pierre became the second Pilot this season to land on the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week after scoring his first career goal and helping secure a 3-1 win over CSUN (Sept. 20).
• The six goals scored by the Pilots during a 6-0 win over Davidson on Sept. 8 were the most scored by a Portland team since 2002 when they also won by a 6-0 margin (vs. DePaul); six different Pilots accounted for each of the six goals.

• The Pilots have 19 assists on their 20 goals.
• For the second straight season, senior midfielder Rey Ortiz was named to the Preseason Watch List for the MAC Hermann Trophy, which is awarded annually to the best collegiate player in the nation.
• Ortiz, who collected three goals and three assists in limited action as a junior, was also named to the All-West Coast Conference Preseason Team, as was senior midfielder Gio Magana-Rivera.
• Portland's 2019 recruiting class was ranked ninth in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer; the 10 newcomers are the program's third straight top-10 recruiting class.
