SEATTLE, Wash. --- Select Pilots from both the men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Husky Classic on Friday, with three Pilots posting impressive times in their respective races to move up in the UP indoor records.

Though redshirt senior Lauren LaRocco finished 15
th overall (9:12.72) in the women's 3000m, fellow teammate Taryn Rawlings moved up to second all-time in the UP indoor records with a new 3000m personal record of 9:20.05. In the women's 5000m, junior Aoibhe Richardson moved up to fourth all-time in the UP record books with a new personal best of 16.16.98.

The men at the Husky Classic only competed in one race on the afternoon, the 5000m. Senior Michael Somers led Portland with an impressive 11
th place overall finish and a time of 13:47.87, breaking him into the indoor records at second all-time. Junior Emmanuel Roudolff-Levisse also ran in the same race, posting a time of 14:05.07. Sophomore Evert Silva and senior Noah Schutte ran in the second fastest heats, finishing the race in 14:09.25 and 14:16.22, respectively. Schutte's time also marked a new personal best for the Pilot.

Both teams will next be in action at the Last Chance College Elite meet on February 15 in Seattle, Wash.
