FOREST GROVE, Ore. --- Junior Maya Murphy-Cook concluded competition at the Pacific Boxer Combined Events Meet on Tuesday afternoon, finishing sixth out of the 26 competitors with an overall score of 41.19. The Pilots improves her previous best in the Heptathlon by 62 points.

"Maya had a solid performance in the heptathlon with improvements in shot put and javelin, as well as her overall score," said assistant coach Erin Kinney. "She's been training well and I am excited to see what she can do in the upcoming competitions."

Both Track and Field teams will next be in action at the SF State Distance Carnival and Stanford Invite this weekend on March 28 and 29.
