BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- Senior Taryn Rawlings took fourth place at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday. The Pilot ran a solid race overall, passing several other student-athletes in the last few laps to kick to a fourth-place finish in 4:38.47. After earning her first All-American honor in the outdoor 1500m in 2017 and her second honor this past cross country season, the accomplishment marks her third All-American honor of her collegiate career.
"Taryn looked great today! She raced with so much toughness and confidence," said head coach Ian Solof. "She continues to impress me with what she is able to accomplish as a national class runner."
The track and field teams will next be in action at the Lewis and Clark Spring Break Open on March 16.
