PORTLAND, Ore. --- Miguel Yuste, an all-region selection who led the Ivy League in goals last season, has committed to the University of Portland men's soccer program, announced head coach Nick Carlin-Voigt. "Miguel is not only an experienced player with championship experience, he's also a team leader and will immediately adapt to our culture and become a thought leader in our program. Miguel is a highly skilled and talented attacking player who will fit well into our system and help replace some the production we lost to graduation. Miguel works equally hard on both sides of the ball has the ability to change games with his play making ability."
With the Bulldogs last year, Yuste started every game and scored eight goals to help Yale win the Ivy League. Yuste also led the league with three-game winners, he was voted United Soccer Coaches All-Northeast Region, and he earned First-Team All-Ivy League recognition.
