BOSTON, Mass. -- A total of eight Pilot men ran personal best marks at the BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, including the No. 1 and No. 3 times in school history.
The evening of races started in heat four which featured Jonas Gertsen, Bradley Peloquin and Matt Strangio. Strangio won heat four in a time of 13:39.59 to break Woody Kincaid's school record of 13:44.34. Peloquin followed closely behind with the No. 3 time in program history of 13:45.57. Gertsen followed shortly behind, running an indoor best of 14:08.95. Heat five saw two more Pilots set lifetime bests with Estanis Ruiz and Daniel Abdala finishing in 14:04.14 and 14:25.82, respectively. Heat six featured Henry Mong and Teddy Buckley who ran 14:13.40 and 14:26.38, both breaking their previous bests. Finally, heat eight featured Nolan Hosbein who ran a personal best mark of 14:37.06.
