FARGO, N.D. – The Portland men's basketball team got a team-high 15 points from Tyler Robertson, but fell 78-67 to the North Dakota State Bison on the road Thursday.
The Pilots (5-5) had three players score in double figures, as Alimamy Koroma added 13 points and Vasilije Vucinic helped out with 10 points off of the bench.
Portland out-rebounded North Dakota State 33-29 in Thursday's game, paced by Vukasin Masic's six boards.
How It Happened
After falling behind 28-17, Portland went on a 7-0 run with 5:44 left in the first half, culminating in a bucket from Vucinic, to narrow its deficit to 28-24. The Pilots continued to close the gap, cutting the North Dakota State lead to 36-33 by the end of the first half.
Portland took a brief lead early in the second half after six straight points from Vucinic, but NDSU responded and slower built a lead to the end.

» The Pilots shot well from three point range, knocking down five of 12 long range attempts.
» The Portland bench made an impact by adding 21 points to its scoring output.
» Portland lost despite a 33-29 rebounding advantage.
» The Pilots also gained a 40-20 edge in the paint, but NDSU drilled 12-of-33 three-pointers.
» Tyler Robertson led the Pilots with 15 points.
» Portland got a team-high six rebounds from Vukasin Masic.
