Indianapolis, Ind. -- Portland Pilot Men's Cross Country ranked ninth in preseason rankings, the USTFCCCA coaches association announced on Wednesday. This is the highest ranking the Pilots have received since 2019 when the Pilots ranked sixth in the preseason rankings. The Pilots are also ranked second overall in the West Region. 

The Pilots will open their 2023 season on Friday, Sept. 1, in McMinnville, Ore. for the Linfield Harrier Classic. The women's 4k event will start at 10:00 A.M.
