EUGENE, Ore. – After breaking numerous Portland Indoor sprint records, Marlee Cavitt started off the outdoor season by posting school records in the 100-meter and 200-meter runs to highlight Saturday's effort at the UO Preview at Hayward Field.
Cavitt clocked a 100-meter time of 12.04 and then crossed the 200-meter finish line in 24.65.
Other highlights for the women's team included Courtney Klatt winning the 1,500-meter with a time of 4:28.44 and Stina Pettersson recording a 2:11.57 in the women's 800-meter.
For the men, Trey Gannon was the Pilots top finisher in the 1,500 with a time of 3:51.47, while Yutaka Roberts (1:51.38) and Aidan Fitzgerald (1:51.39) finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 800-meters.
Portland track will return to action at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic next weekend in San Francisco.
