CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Portland Pilots put together a weekend of impressive performances at the Oregon State High Performance meet at Whyte Track and Field Center in Corvallis.

Friday's competition saw highlights from the distance squads. In the Men's 5000m, Eliason Kabasenche led a Portland sweep of the top three spots, winning in 14:45.91. He was closely followed by Hugh Kent, who clocked a PR of 14:48.40, and Nathan Short, who finished in 14:49.50. The team's depth showed with Carson Helmer (6th, 14:56.76), Jacob Hupke (11th, 15:06.56), and Dalton Kaines (14th, 15:16.56) all finishing strong. Steven Durr also set a personal best with his time of 15:40.30.

In the Women's 1500m, Samantha Prusse ran a personal best of 4:23.54 to place third overall, with Stina Pettersson close behind in fifth, also setting a personal record at 4:25.66. On the men's side, Nathan Stein and Cameron Stein led the way in the 1500m, finishing second and third, respectively. Trey Gannon posted a standout performance in the Men's 1500m Invite, running a personal best of 3:45.68 to finish fifth.

The Pilots continued their success in the invitational races later Friday evening. Anthony Giesch and Nate Lantz both earned personal bests, finishing second and third, respectively, in the Men's 5000m Invite with times of 14:12.30 and 14:13.63. Bradley Peloquin (6th, 14:16.37), Aaron Rovnak (10th, 14:31.16), and Daniel Racle (12th, 14:48.35) all contributed to an impressive showing by the Portland men. Meanwhile, in the Men's 10000m, Nolan Hosbein claimed victory in 30:15.60, with Cohen Williams taking fifth.

In the sprint events, Jillian Bremont finished ninth in the Women's 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:07.73. Lola Richardson led a large Pilot group in the Women's 200m, where she clocked 25.87, with Alexis Leao (26.17) and Isabella Dreiling (26.21) close behind. Aaliyah Nero, Vinyet Lapuente, and Hannah Bonsack also competed in a large field.

In day two, Stina Pettersson followed her strong Friday race with a runner-up finish in the Women's 800m, clocking 2:11.66. On the men's side, Yuta Cole ran 1:54.78 to finish tenth in the Men's 800m, with Mateus Chauvin achieving a PR of 1:56.79.

In the Women's 400m, Alexis Leao placed 13th in 59.57, while Vinyet Lapuente earned a new personal best of 1:02.85. Yutaka Roberts raced the Men's 400m, finishing in 52.46. Meanwhile, in the Women's 100m, Aaliyah Nero and Hannah Bonsack posted times of 13.41 and 13.72, respectively.
