EUGENE, Ore. – Women track star Laura Pellicoro advanced to the final of the women's 800m at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships this evening, setting a new personal best and school record with a time of 2:01.07.
Pellicoro's performance was the second-fastest outside of the automatic qualifiers across all three semifinal heats, earning her a spot in Saturday's championship final. She will compete for the national title this Saturday at 7:14 p.m. at Hayward Field.
Tomorrow, Matt Strangio will represent the Pilots in the men's 5,000-meter final, scheduled for 6:55 p.m. Strangio enters with a season-best and school-record time of 13:24.14.
