UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2005: Earned 2005 All-WCC honorable mention honors … started 43 games and appeared in 44 overall, primarily as an outfielder … ended the season tied for fifth all-time at Portland with 27 career doubles and No. 10 all-time with a .317 career batting average … third on the team last season with a .299 batting average, a .413 slugging percentage, three stolen bases, three sacrifice bunts, tied for third with eight doubles, fourth with 50 hits and tied for fourth with three home runs … also one of six Pilots with a triple … 106 putouts … had 13 multi-hits games including seven three-hit games and one four-hit game … had a 12-game hitting streak and ended the season with a seven-game streak … had three hits in four of the season’s final six games and hit .517 (16-28), scored seven runs, knocked in five, hit three doubles, a home run and stole a base … went 3-for-5 with 2 RBI’s, a triple and a run scored in a 10-6 win against Washington State (Feb. 19) … went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI’s, two doubles and scored twice against Loyola Marymount (Apr. 9) … got three hits in five at-bats with three runs, two RBI’s and a home run during a 15-11 win against Santa Clara (May 21) … raised batting average 47 points during the final nine games by going 18 of 36 … missed nine games early in the season because of a back injury.
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2004: Named to the 2004 All-WCC second team … started and appeared in 55 of the Pilots’ 56 games, primarily at third base … started 48 games at third base before moving to the outfield … led team in batting average (.353), at-bats (221), runs (36), hits (78), triples (4), runs batted in (34), total bases (105), slugging percentage (.475), on-base percentage (.398), and stolen bases (7) … ranked fifth in the WCC with a .397 batting average in conference games… season .353 batting average was tenth in the conference … tied for WCC lead with four triples on the season … led conference outright with three triples in WCC games … tied for seventh in the conference with 78 hits … ranked seventh in the WCC with 46 hits in conference games … teed off against southpaws, hitting .595 against left-handed pitching ….553 on-base percentage when leading off an inning … hit triples in three consecutive games in March … four hits against Monmouth (Mar. 8) … tallied hits in 47 of 55 games played … had an 18-game hitting streak snapped against Oregon State (May 18) … 22 multi-hit games … scored four runs against Pepperdine (Mar. 27) … went 3-for-5 with four runs batted in against Saint Mary’s (May 1) … seven assists against Lewis & Clark (Feb. 21) and five assists three times … set new UP single-season record with 221 at-bats and placed third in UP history for hits in a season, just two shy of the record held by Geoff Loomis.
