UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2006: Started 22 games and appeared in 29 at first base and as a designated hitter ... had 16 hits in 91 at-bats with eight runs, five RBI’s, two doubles and a home run ... had two four-game hitting streaks ... hit his first home run as a Pilot against Dallas Baptist on Feb. 13, a two-run shot ... went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 3-2 win against North Dakota State on Feb. 25 ... went 2-for-4 with a run against San Jose State on Mar. 14 ... went 2-for-4 with two runs, one RBI and a double during win at Utah on Mar. 18.
MT. HOOD CC 2005: Played one year for coach Gabe Sandy … All-NWAACC First Team, All-NWAACC First Team Southern Division, All-NWAACC Tournament Team … placed seventh in the conference with a .388 batting average. He had seven doubles, two triples, four home runs and 30 RBI and went 2-2 with a 6.03 earned-run average on the mound for the Saints … team finished second in the conference, first in the southern division.
WASHINGTON 2004: Played one year for coach Ken Knutson … gathering a single, home run and a walk in three plate appearances at UW.
BARLOW HS: Earned four letters for coach Steve Stebbins … first team all-state, All-Mt. Hood Conference First Team and conference Player of the Year as a senior … team MVP … team finished second in the state in 2001 … batted .412 with seven homers as a senior after a .432 average and seven round trippers his junior year for the Bruins … also earned three letters in football and two basketball … member of the honor roll all four years.
