MATER DEI HS: Earned three letters for coach Burt Call … as a senior in 2007, was named First Team All-Trinity League and was an All-Orange County All Star Team … helped lead the Monarchs to the CIF semifinals after taking the league title … during his senior campaign, he hit .386 with 26 RBI’s, twelve doubles and four home runs … also posted a .432 on-base percentage, a .554 slugging percentage, swiped three bases and was name the team’s defensive player of the year in 2007 … in 2005, the Monarchs won the 2005 CIF Division I championship and a league title … member of the National Honor Society.
