UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2011: Appeared in 38 games with 34 starts (22 SS, 11 2B, 1 DH) … recorded four multi-hit games on the season … went 2-for-4 with two doubles against BYU on March 7…scored two runs against San Diego on April 21 … went 2-for-4 with an RBI against San Diego on April 22.
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2010: Appeared in 50 games, making 49 starts at shortstop … hit .285 (55-for-193) with one home run, 10 doubles, and 29 runs scored … recorded three straight multi-hit games from Feb. 20 to Feb. 27 including a 4-for-4 performance with a double, two RBI, and three runs scored against George Fox … recorded two three-hit games, one against Seattle (Feb. 28 – game 2 of the double-header) and at Pepperdine (April 25).
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2009: Earned All-WCC Honorable Mention and landed on the conference’s all-freshman team … landed on the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Team, as released by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper … one of two Pilots to start all 51 games … led team with 48 runs, 72 hits and 20 doubles … also hit .336, belted four home runs, knocked in 21 and stole eight bases … tied for fourth in the WCC with nine sacrifice bunts, was fifth in doubles and eighth in runs … had a 13-game hitting streak … led team with 22 multi-hit games; 15 with two hits, six with three and one with four … on UP single-season charts, tied for second in doubles, tied for fourth in hits and tied for seventh in runs … ended season No. 5 all-time at UP in career batting average … hit a home run in first collegiate at-bat in team’s first at-bat of the season against Utah Valley (Feb. 20) … was batting .394 eight games into collegiate career … had four hits and two runs against Hawaii on Mar. 22 … 10-for-15 with six runs during three-game stretch (Mar. 21-24) … 3-for-6 with four RBI’s, two runs, a double and a homer at #28 San Diego on Apr. 26.
CRESCENTA VALLEY HS: Four-year letterwinner … three-time All-Pacific League First Team selection (2006-08) … in 2007 and 2008, he was named Division II All-CIF, first team all-area, all-area MVP and was voted top male athlete as a senior … named second team all-area as a sophomore in 2006 … helped the Falcons win four straight league titles and advance to the quarterfinals in 2007 … during his senior campaign, he hit .530 with four home runs, 30 RBI’s and 32 runs … hit .494 as a junior with 10 doubles, 28 RBI’s and 23 runs … hit in 26 straight games during junior season … senior season featured a three-run, walk off home run during the opening round of the playoffs … during the summer of 2007, he helped his San Gabriel Valley team win the Senior Babe Ruth World Series in Newark, Ohio, while taking home Regional MVP honors … he was also member of the 2001 AAU 12-U National Champions and the 2004 Mickey Mantle 15-U World Series Champions.
