UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2009-10: Led the team for the second straight year with 26.5 counted rounds of out 27 total … one top-10 finish and four top-20 … 75.04 season scoring average was a team-best; averaged a 74.42 during the fall schedule … shot a season-low 71 five times … top-10 finish came at the USF Triumph at Pauma Valley, when he tied for seventh with a 224 (+11) … finished 20 th at the Giustina Memorial Classic (Sept. 28-29), tied for 11th at the WSU Snowman Getaway (Feb. 22-23) and tied for 18 th at the Braveheart Classic (Mar. 1-2 … Season-low 54-hole total of 218 (+2) at the Wolf Pack Classic (Oct. 5-6).
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2008-09: Counted a team-high 24.5 rounds out of 27 total … shot a season-low round of 68 during the second round of the Giustina Memorial Classic (Sept. 22-23) … during that second round, all four counting UP golfers were under par helping the Pilots shoot a program-low round of 277, which was 11 under par … averaged a 74.0 per round during the fall schedule and led the team overall with a 74.81 mark for the year … tied for the team high with two rounds in the 60’s.
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2007-08: Honorable mention All-West Coast Conference … counted 23.5 of his 26 rounds … posted the lowest scoring average (74.15) for a freshman in UP men’s golf history … fired a season and team low round of 68 during the second round of the Fresno State Lexus Classic on March 10 … also shot a round of 69 during the fall schedule … averaged a 72.64 and finished in the top-20 at each of Portland’s four tournaments during the fall … tied for 11th individually with a 142 (73-69) at the Purple and Red Invitational (Sept. 24-25) for his top finish in the fall … had one top-10 and two top-20 finishes during the spring … earned honorable mention all-league honors after tying for ninth place at the WCC Championships at Chambers Bay GC (April 14-15); shot a 223 (72-75-76) on the par 72 course to finish tops among the conference freshmen.
ROSEBURG HS/UMPQUA VALLEY CHRISTIAN: Transferred to Roseburg from Umpqua Valley Christian following junior year … earned three letters for coaches Chuck Chappell and Jeff Bright … earned all-league honors as a sophomore, junior and senior … qualified for state tournament sophomore and juniors seasons … three-time team MVP … set high school course record with a 66 at Oak Hills Golf Course as a senior … has shot a career-low 65 twice … also earned two letters in baseball.
