UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2008-09: Had Portland’s best individual finish of the season when he tied for fifth place overall at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational (April 6-7) … he shot an even-par 216 (71-74-71) at the Stevinson Invite to post UP’s best individual finish in two years … counted 21 of 27 total rounds for the year … one of two UP golfers to shoot a team season-low round of 67 … the four-under par 67 came during the third round of the USF Triumph (March 16-17) … had team’s lowest scoring average (75.20) during the spring slate and second lowest mark (75.48) overall … tied for the team high with five rounds of par or better.
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2007-08: Played a total of 26 rounds with 19 counting … shot a season low round of 71 three times … posted a scoring average of 75.4 for the year … finished in the top-20 individually twice, once in the fall and once in the spring … tied for 20th overall with a 224 (77-76-71) to help the Pilots finish second at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 15-16) … closed with a 72 and a 71 to finish with a 223, good for 17th place at the Anteater Invitational (Feb. 25-26).
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2006-07: Counted 20.5 of 29 rounds played during freshman campaign … averaged a 75.4 per round during the fall and a 77.62 overall … had one top-20 finish … fired a 67 during the second round of the Vandal Fall Classic (Sept. 25-26) to tie the season-low round for the Pilots … tied for 12th at the Vandal Fall Classic with a season-low three-round total of 215 to help UP tie for second … opened the season with a 70 in the first round of the Purple and Red Invitational (Sept. 19-20) … tied for 22nd individually at the West Coast Conference Championships (April 16-17).
KING KEKAULIKE HS: Four-year letterwinner for coaches Bob Bangerter, Kaipo Thomas and Craig Furtado … Maui Interscholastic League Freshman and Player of the Year in 2003 … four-time MIL team champions … team finished second at state high school competition in 2004 and 2005.
