Biography
PORTLAND 2016-17: WCC All-Academic Team… finished a perfect 5-0 in WCC singles matches, 14-2 in dual singles and 21-9 overall… had a 13-9 overall doubles record and a 10-5 dual doubles mark… won eight consecutive dual singles matches to start the spring and 14-of-15… provided the clinching point in Portland’s 4-3 win over LMU to close out the regular season with sole possession of first place… posted two wins at the ITA Northwest Regionals in the fall to reach the Round of 32.
PORTLAND 2015-16: Finished with a 14-5 dual singles record, primarily at the No. 5 spot in the lineup… posted a 4-1 singles mark in WCC play and went 21-8 overall in singles… recorded a 6-5 dual doubles record and 11-8 overall doubles mark… finished the dual season by winning nine of ten matches, including his final five singles matches… three of five losses were three setters, while 20 wins came in straight sets… won three of four matches in his collegiate debut at the Rice Invitational… partnered with Michail Pervolarakis to earn co-champion honors at the Bulldog Classic in doubles after winning three matches.
YOUTH TENNIS CAREER: Won one Canadian national title … won gold medal at Canada Games … finished third, twice, at Canadian National Championships … ranked fourth nationally in U16 and sixth in U18 in Canada … four-time British Columbia provincial champion … ranked first in U14, U16, and U18 for British Columbia.
