2010: Track & Field: Posted a 14:05.19 in the 5000m at the Stanford Invite on March 29… Recorded a time of 3:57.77 in the 1500m at the Willamette Invitational on April 2-3… Crossed the line in 28:55.73 in the 10k at the Mt. Sac Relays on April 19… Finished the 5k in 14:02.55 at the Payton Jordan Invitational on May 1, good for 14th place… Qualified for the NCAA Track & Field Championships in the men’s 10000m run on May 27 at the Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas placing 10th in a field of 46 runners with a time of 29:45.30… Capped off an impressive outdoor season by earning All-America Honors, the sophomore placed 8th overall (29:09.63) in the 10000m run at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene… He joins Pete Julian, Ryan Grote, Joe Driscoll, John Moore, Michael Kilburg, and David Kinsella as Pilots to earn All-America honors in the 10k.
2009: Finished 15th in the 5k run in 13:51.09 at the Stanford Invitational on March 27… Finished the 1500m run in 3:47.18 at the Mt. Sac Relays on April 23, it was his first time running the 1500m… Ran a 13:45.56 in the 5k race at the Cardinal Invitational on May 2, a UP record… Recorded a 1st place overall finish in the 5k run in 14:20.24 and a 14th place finish in the 1500m run in 3:49.76 at the Georgia Tech Invitational on May 17… Ranked No. 19 nationally in the 5k event… Achieved a 7th place finish in the 5k at the NCAA West Regional finals with his time of 14:08.79…Advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a 5th place finish in the semifinal race in a time of 14:02.32… Was the 12th place overall finisher at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. running the 5k race in 14:21.37.
2008: Cross-country: 18th place finish at the 2008 NCAA Division I Championships (29:54.8, 10k) at Terra Haute, Ind. (11/24/08) helping team to overall seventh place finish ... third place finish at the NCAA Division I West Regional (28:36.02, 10k) at Stanford, Calif. helping the team to a third-place overall finish (11/15/08) ... placed second at Bill Dellinger Invitational (24:05.48,8k) in Springfield, Ore. (10/04/08) ... 1st-place and course record at Western Oregon Summer's End Invitational (24:14.20, 8k) at Monmouth, Ore. leading team to first-place overall ... selected to USTFCCCA All-West Region team.
