2010: Cross Country: NCAA All-America after finishing 25th individually at the 2010 NCAA Cross Country Championships (30:21) ... named the USTFCCCA West Region Athlete of the Year after winning the 2010 NCAA West Regional (29:57.89).
Track & Field: Ran unattached all season... Ran the 3000m in his PR of 8:04.96 at the UW Indoor Preview on Jan.16 which was a 10 second improvement over his previous PR and the fastest time by any college student in the nation at that point in the season… Set a new PR in the 3000m at the UW Final Qualifier, finishing the event in 8:01.87… Posted a 13:55.22 in the 5k at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational on May 1… Set his PR and a UP record in the 1-mile race with his time of 4:01.31… Won the 5000m USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa on June 25 in 14:34.63… Placed 11th in the 5000m at the World Championships in Moncton, Canada on July 29, becoming the top North American finisher with a time of 14:16.08.
2009: Finished 76th (30:39.7) at the 2009 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. (11/23/09)...31st (24:15) at the 2009 NCAA Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. (10/17/09)...10th (23:51.25) at the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Springfield, Ore. (10/2/09).
KODIAK HS: Four-year letterwinner for coach Marcus Dunbar ... three-time Alaska State Cross Country champion and two-time state track and field champion ... Alaska state record in the 3,200-meter with a time of 9:01 during a videotaped time trial (11-2008) … third at the Foot Locker West Regionals (12-6-08) with a 5K time of 15:43 ... he bettered that by placing second at the Foot Locker Nationals a week later with a time of 15:22.
PERSONAL: Born Trevor "T-Bar" Dunbar on April 29th, 1991 in Anchorage, Alaska ... parents are Marcus and Kathleen Dunbar ... has a brother Miles and sister Hannah... both parents competed for the Portland Pilots in cross country and track and field ... father Marcus also had a stint at the University of Oregon ... majoring in Business Administration... came to UP because "I wanted to come to UP for the combination of the team, the academics, and the weather."
