JESUIT HS: Two-year letterwinner for coach and former UP standout Kathy Adelman Nero … earned two letters at Lake Oswego High School before transferring to Jesuit … a pre-season McDonald’s All-American Game nominee as a senior … was named All-Metro League as both a junior and a senior after earning All-Three Rivers League during her sophomore campaign … despite missing half of her junior season with a knee injury, she led the Crusaders in assists and steals and was voted team MVP … also voted team MVP as a senior… as a sophomore at LO, she led the team in assists, steals and minutes played as the Lakers won their conference and advanced to the final four at the Oregon State Tournament … helped the Crusaders to a fourth-place finish at the 2009 Oregon 6A Tourney … also earned two letters in soccer at Lake Oswego … National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Born on Dec. 6, 1990 in Portland, Ore. … parents are Linda and Jack Griffin … majors are biology and organizational communications … father played tennis at Southern Oregon University … with her Clutch Players Club team, Griffin was named the tournament MVP at the End of the Oregon Trail Championships in 2006 and 2007.
