2010: Came in 4th overall at the Pier Park Invitational 5k on Sept. 10 in 18:23… Completed the Charles Bowles Invitational 5k on Oct. 2 in 18:10.43, good for 29th place… Posted a 22:47.7 at the NCAA Pre-National 6k “Blue Race” on Oct. 16, good for 210th overall… Finished 21st at the WCC Championship 6k on Oct. 30 in 22:11… Finished 112th at the NCAA Cross Country West Regional on Nov. 13 in 22:06.71.
STANWOOD HS: 1600 PR of 5:02 (Placed 5th at state champs)... 3200 PR of 11:00 (Placed third)... Placed seventh at the state xc championships junior and senior years... Cross Country PR of 18:46... awarded Athlete of the Year as a senior and graduated with a 3.92 GPA.
PERSONAL: Born Natasha Verma on Oct. 26, 1992 to parents Raj and Meena Verma... has two siblings, Lakshmi and Meera... major is Global Business... chose UP because "I love the Pacific Northwest, and the campus is in a beautiful location. I liked the team, and the classes that I got to attend while I visited. It overall just seemed like the perfect fit for me."
