NATIONAL TEAM: USA Women’s National Team (2006-) ... appeared in four matches with the senior team in 2006 and scored two goals … U-19 WNT (2003-04) … tied for the U.S. lead with three goals at the 2004 FIFA U-19 World Championships in Thailand.
UP 2007: Appeared in just two matches off the bench early in the year before suffering season-ending knee injury for the second consecutive season … granted a medical hardship waiver by the NCAA.
UP 2006: Was among the nation’s leading scorers with 10 goals and two assists in 11 matches before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Washington State on Oct. 5 … Husky Invitational and Nike Portland Invitational Offensive MVP … joined Tiffeny Milbrett and Shannon MacMillan as the only Pilots to score 25 goals and 15 assists in just two years … recorded first career hat trick in a 5-0 win over Baylor.
UP 2005: Soccer Times National Freshman of the Year ... NSCAA First Team All-America ... Soccer Buzz and Soccer Times Second Team All-America ... Soccer Buzz and Soccer America First Team Freshman All-America ... Soccer Buzz West Region Freshman of the Year ... College Cup All-Tournament Team ... WCC Freshman of the Year ... CLUB TEAM: Played club soccer for Elk Grove United along with current UP teammates Stephanie Lopez and Rachael Rapinoe ... club team was ranked No. 1 nationally in 2003 and finished second at the 2003 U-19 National Championships.
PERSONAL: Born July 5, 1985 in Redding, Calif. … parents are Jim and Denise Rapinoe … major is sociology ... twin sister of UP teammate Rachael Rapinoe.
