STANWOOD HS: 1600 PR of 5:02 (Placed 5th at state champs)... 3200 PR of 11:00 (Placed third)... Placed seventh at the state xc championships junior and senior years... Cross Country PR of 18:46... awarded Athlete of the Year as a senior and graduated with a 3.92 GPA.
PERSONAL: Born Natasha Verma on Oct. 26, 1992 to parents Raj and Meena Verma... has two siblings, Lakshmi and Meera... major is Biology (Pre-Med)... chose UP because "I love the Pacific Northwest, and the campus is in a beautiful location. I liked the team, and the classes that I got to attend while I visited. It overall just seemed like the perfect fit for me."
