The NCAA Division I Track and Field Committee announced on Monday the participants in the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships and Portland redshirt junior Cori Moore will represent the Pilots in the women’s 800-meters. Moore set the school indoor record on Saturday at the UW Final Qualifier with a time of 2:05.41 and will be one of 17 competitors in the event.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- Sophomore Beau Fraser hit his first home run of the season in support of battery mate Ed Wakefield as the Portland Pilots beat the Memphis Tigers 7-2 in a non-conference game Monday afternoon at FedExPark. Keeler Brynteson pitched a perfect two innings of relief to pick up his first save of the season.

Portland will await a postseason invitation after being dealt a 69-55 loss to Saint Mary’s in the semifinals of the 2010 Zappos.com WCC Basketball Championship Sunday night at the Orleans Arena. The Pilots shot a season-low 28.8 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from the three-point line in the loss. Senior forward Ethan Niedermeyer scored a team-high 12 points for Portland.
