BERKELEY, Calif. -- Portland doubles team Filip Zivkovic and Evan Schleining advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2009 Wilson ITA Northwest Regional Tournament falling 8-3 to the Washington duo of Alex Rosinski and Tobi Obenaus.
The 14 team field includes some of the best teams and players in the nation respresenting Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon, Pacific, Portland, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's College, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Stanford, UC Davis and Washington. There are nine ranked singles players and three ranked doubles teams.
Portland will wrap up its fall season at the UW Invitational on Nov. 6-8 in Seattle, Wash.
