Sinclair and Schmidt recently returned home from the 2012 London Olympics where their Canadian National Team claimed its first ever medal in women’s soccer. Sinclair scored six goals total at the Olympics and she registered a hat trick during an epic semifinal match against the USA. Sinclair now has 143 career international goals, which is just 15 goals shy of Mia Hamm’s all-time record of 158. Schmidt started every match in the midfield for the Canadians.
The autograph zone on Friday night will run from 6:15 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. and will take place on the field turf practice field adjacent to Merlo Field. The autograph zone can only be accessed from the inside the stadium.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
