SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- Portland Pilots senior Cody Lenahan and sophomore Kevin Wade both earned All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention, which was announced on Tuesday. It's the third straight all-conference honor mention accolade for Lenahan, while Wade earns his first all-league distinction.
 
Lenahan, a third baseman from San Marcos, Calif., hit .287 against conference foes, belting three homers and driving in 16 RBI's. Two of his home runs came in the same game and he missed becoming the first player in program history to tally three in game by about two feet. He had a 3-for-5 performance with a double and three RBI's against Santa Clara and he went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI's at Saint Mary's. Lenahan also drove in three runs with a pair of doubles during a win at Pacific and he boasted a fielding percentage of .986, making just one error in 79 chances against WCC teams. He totaled 12 doubles and a triple during the conference slate and he led the team with 18 doubles overall on the season.
 
Wade led the Pilots with a .337 batting average during conference play. The first baseman, who suffered a finger injury towards the end of the season, also had two homers against league opponents, drove in 15 runs, had two doubles and scored 13 runs. He was nearly flawless in the field, committing only two errors in 171 opportunities for a fielding percentage of .988. Those were the only two errors he committed all season. Wade had three games with three hits vs. WCC foes, which included a 3-for-3 performance at Saint Mary's with three RBI's, three runs scored and a home run. At one point during league play the native of Mission Viejo, Calif., had his batting average up to .462.
 
San Diego junior shortstop Kyle Holder captured West Coast Conference Player of the Year honors, junior righthander David Hill earned conference Pitcher of the Year accolades, while first-year star infielder Bryson Brigman collected the Freshman of the Year award for the Toreros. Junior catcher Joey Harris of Gonzaga captured Defensive Player of the Year honors to break up the Torero sweep. San Diego's Rich Hill was selected as Coach of the Year by his peers.
 
All five individual awards - along with the All-WCC First and Freshman Teams - were voted on solely by the league's 10 head coaches.
