SEATTLE, Wash. --- The Portland Pilots beach volleyball team concluded their weekend of competition this afternoon against the University of Washington at the Husky Beach Courts.

The Huskies went on to win all five matches against the Pilots, but Portland was able to win a pair of sets in the 5's, 2', and 1's pair. Freshmen Liz Reich and McKenzie Schwan won the first set of their match, but Washington came back to win the next two to go up 1-0 on Portland.

Senior Morgan Robinson and redshirt-sophomore Katie Barker lost a close first set 21-19 but was able to come back in the second to win 19-21 before dropping the third. Senior Tani Stephens and redshirt-sophomore Cali Thompson dropped their first set before winning their second 11-21. Washington won the third 15-12 to conclude the victory.

The Pilots will be back on the court next weekend in Salem, Ore. to face the University of Oregon in the regular season finale. Â
