University of Portland is hoping to secure 1,000 donors in 24 hours as part of the first annual #PilotsGive campaign. Starting at noon on Wednesday, April 4 donors can contribute to a number of University programs and release nearly $400,000 in bonus dollars.

Fans can donate directly to any of the UP athletics programs and that money will go straight to providing premiere student-athlete experiences that develop the whole-person; intellectually, professionally, and athletically. Our student-athletes come to The Bluff from all over the world to compete in our 16 varsity sports and receive an outstanding UP education. To provide such an experience it takes many Pilot supporters, and we need your help! 

A generous Pilot donor and UP Board of Regent, Steve Shepard '58, is challenging you! Make a gift and cast your vote for your favorite team to put them at the top of the Pilot Athletics Leaderboard. The top three teams at the end of #PilotsGive will unlock additional funds for their program:

• 1st place will receive $5,000
• 2nd place will receive $3,000
• 3rd place will receive $2,000

Join us for Portside with the Pilots LIVE! on Wednesday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. Gather with fellow Pilot fans at the Pilot House to hear from Vice President of Athletics, Scott Leykam, and our UP Head Coaches on why giving is vital to Pilot Athletics. If you cannot attend, make sure to tune into Facebook Live starting at 6:00 p.m., or NBC Sports Northwest at 8:30 p.m.

Track your favorite team's progress on the leaderboard throughout the day, and spread the word so your favorite sport reaches the top. Because together, we all add UP!
