SALEM, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots beach volleyball team battled the Oregon Ducks in a regular season finale rematch at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Ore, with the Ducks overcoming the Pilots 3-2.

Initially accumulating a 2-0 deficit on the day in the 5's and 4's duels, senior Sarah Savoca and freshman Carey Williams were able to win two of their three sets tot give the Pilots their first point of the day. Senior Morgan Robinson and sophomore Katie Barker then attempted to make a comeback by leveling their match in the second set 1-1 but were unable to clinch the win dropping the third set 12-15. With Oregon taking the overall match 3-1 on the day, the 1's pairs Cali Thompson and Tani Stephens still ended the day on a positive note, winning their dual in three sets.

The Pilots will next be in action at the WCC Championships in Santa Monica, Calif. On April 20. Â
