Lampe, Maus, and Williams Shine at Pacific Twilight

FOREST GROVE, Ore. --- Jacob Lampe and Katherine Maus posted top marks in their respective events, while Kiyah Williams posted a second place finish at the Pacific Twilight this last weekend.
 
Maus continues her strong initial campaign with the Pilots, recording the best mark in the women’s triple jump. Maus posted a 10.95m mark, well ahead of Corban’s Eliya Kohl, who placed second with a 10.36m mark.
 
On the men’s field side, Lampe matched a season-high in the long jump with a mark of 2.00m to finish at the top of the field. Teammate Matt Winterer was close behind with a 1.95m mark, finishing tied for second with four others.
 
Williams, a consistent runner for the Pilots all year, placed second in the women’s 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.66, while also posting a new team-best 26.68 in the 200m dash.
 
Melissa Baller tied the team’s season-best in the 100m dash, matching her 13.19 set at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Invitational.
 
Portland’s season continues this weekend at the Mount Hood Invitational (Gresham, Ore.) and the Oregon Twilight (Eugene, Ore.).
