PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Pilots wrapped up the 2026 regular season with a series of standout performances across the 2026 George Fox University NCAA Final Qualifier and the Stumptown Running West Coast Twilight, collecting event titles, personal records, and strong finishes throughout the weekend.
At the George Fox University NCAA Final Qualifier in Newberg, the Pilots earned multiple victories on both the men's and women's sides. In the men's events, Yutaka Roberts claimed the 800-meter title with a time of 1:50.47, while Jacob Hupke led a dominant Portland showing in the 1500 meters with a personal-record 3:50.97. Trey Gannon followed closely behind in second at 3:51.23, and Elliot Hawley added another PR with a third-place finish in 3:51.89. Gabriel Morrow also posted a personal best in the 400 meters, finishing second in 51.05.
On the women's side, Malia Rose Harvey won the 400 meters in 56.57 after also placing fifth in the 200 meters. Rose Perotin captured the 800-meter title in 2:09.45, while Lindsey Kaines finished third and Giana Atkinson recorded a PR in fifth. Kate Kabenina added another event victory for the Pilots with a personal-best 4:33.20 in the 1500 meters. Avery Owen and Olivia Sendelbach each added personal records in the 1500 meters and shot put, respectively.
The following weekend at the Stumptown Running West Coast Twilight in Portland, the Pilots continued their momentum against strong collegiate and high-performance fields. Giuliano Scasso highlighted the men's competition with a victory in the 3000-meter steeplechase, crossing the line in 8:58.49. Elliot McIntosh finished second while setting a new personal best of 9:22.83.
In the distance events, Mark Milner earned runner-up honors in the men's high-performance 1500 meters with a time of 3:44.10, while Matthew Cordova posted a PR in the 5000 meters. Portland also delivered an impressive showing in the men's 10,000 meters, led by Kgadi Monyebodi's fourth-place finish in 29:12.95. Adam Lippe, Bodie Alderson, Canyon White, and Silas Sneath each recorded personal-best performances.
Rose Perotin added another PR in the women's 800 meters with a time of 2:07.93, while Lindsey Kaines and Selena Bangerter both posted personal bests in the women's high-performance 1500 meters. Giana Atkinson led the Pilots in the collegiate 1500-meter section with a third-place finish, and Berlin Herrera added another PR for Portland.
