PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Pilots are auctioning off special warm-up jerseys this season with all of the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House in Portland. The silent auction has gone on all season, but the deadline to make a bid is 10 minutes before halftime of Satur­day's game against USF. Each jersey features a cur­rent player's number, along with Ronald McDonald House and Pilots logos and winners will be announced following Saturday's match.

The UP women's soccer team has partnered with the Ronald McDonald house in some capacity since 2003. The RMH already features one Portland Pilots room, which the team hopes to renovate while also adding a second UP soccer room.
 
In 2011, the women's soccer team raised $5,000 with a similar auction, which benefitted Harper's Playground.
 
"We have a long-standing relationship with the Ronald McDonald House and we're excited to not only continue that, but build on it this season," said Dees. "We've had success auctioning special warm-up jerseys in the past, so we wanted to give our fans another opportunity to help us support such a great cause."
 
The team's goal is to raise $8,500.
 
Bids can be made at the Fan Information Table at Merlo Field on all gamedays, or by emailing UP Marketing Manager Jon Brooks at brooksj@up.edu. Donations will also be accepted in lieu of bids.
